As I wondered through the streets of the French Quarter of New Orleans I came across an abandoned house. When I looked through the iron gate I saw this lantern. It seems as though it is a symbol of hope for the city of New Orleans.

Walk through the streets of New Orleans and you will find Mardi Gras beads everywhere!! My visit was 2 weeks after the celebration. On my first walk around the great city I found this fence covered in beads.

One of my favorite images from my trip to New Orleans. You can find these benches all over Nola. This one in particular was found in Jackson Square. I shot this on a cold rainy day. You can see rain droplets on the bench.
