Judys 5K Walk/Run for PSP

I volunteered my photography services to a friend this weekend who organized a wonderful event to raise money for PSP Disease. Judys 5K Walk/Run for PSP took place this past Sunday at the Diversey Harbor in Lincoln Park. Lisa raised over $22,000 for the research of PSP. Tons of family and friends attended the walk in support of Lisa's mom, Judy.

You can read more about PSP at

My first attempt at Ttv

I recently found out about a camera technique called Ttv. You use an older film camera and a digital camera to create a unique look. This has been very popular on flickr and etsy. I can't wait for the leaves to change color so I can take more pictures but this is an image from my apple picking trip this past weekend.

Chicago Olympic Bid 2016 Rally

I was able to attend the Chicago Olympic Bid Rally this past Friday. Fans filled Daley Plaza with signs saying " I back the bid" and the famous Cubs "W" and "We can Imagine Chicago 2016" Chicagoians were quickly disappointed as Chicago was knocked out in the first round of voting.
